Seller Central
Register for Amazon Seller Central
Amazon is a strict verification process, not a shortcut. Complete the application using the real person and business that will operate the account.
Preparation
Have these ready before you begin
- Government-issued photo ID and recent proof of residential address.
- A real business registration or license when you operate through an entity, plus tax information.
- An internationally chargeable credit card and a bank account in the primary contact's or business's name.
- Accurate product, brand, store, and contact details.
Registration flow
How the process works
- 01Create the account
Choose an email address and password, then start seller registration.
- 02Declare the real business location
Use the country where the business is legally registered. If you are registering as an individual, use the country where you actually conduct business.
- 03Add the true primary contact
Enter the legal name, citizenship, birth country, date of birth, residential address, phone number, and role of the person who owns or legally represents the business.
- 04Add payment and store information
Provide banking, credit-card, store, product-code, and brand details.
- 05Finish identity verification
Amazon may use a face-and-ID check or ask you to schedule a video call. Have the original documents used in the application available.
North America and Brazil
One unified account covers the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. It is not a U.S.-only registration.
Global expansion and fees
Europe and other regions require additional regional or country accounts. Amazon currently lists a separate regional plan structure, but linked global Professional accounts are billed at the lower of the combined active-market fees or the equivalent of USD $39.99 per month. Always confirm current fees before expanding.
